How to vote: The SYP elections use the Scottish Single Transferrable Vote (Scottish STV) system - a system of preferential voting. When you vote, you will be asked to rank the candidates in order of preference, in order 1,2,3… etc, instead of just choosing one candidate. This means the result is based more on consensus or agreement
